Dexter man faces charges after disturbance at mall
Michael S. Shephard, 30, of 21761 Route 180, Dexter, was charged Monday night with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment following a disturbance at Salmon Run Mall, according to the Jefferson County Sheriffs Department.
He is ordered to appear in town of Watertown Court for allegedly punching Dustin C. Foster, 27, Watertown, an employee at the mall, on the left side of the head, according to a deputys report. The incident was seen by a 2-year-old child who was walking nearby, the deputy reported.
No details were provided to explain what provoked the attack.
