Watertown woman faces charge of identity theft

Amanda F. Vincent, 26, of 308 Prospect Drive, who was arrested early Thursday after an alleged car-intrusion spree, additionally was charged by Watertown police with identity theft and fourth-degree petit larceny at 4:13 p.m. Thursday at her residence.

She is accused of purchasing two packs of cigarettes and other items worth $34.50 at a Stewart’s Shop convenience store, 229 N. Massey St., with a stolen debit card belonging to Billie R. Bannister, Watertown.

Ms. Vincent and her accomplice, Ryan K. Porter, 21, of 610 Emerson St., had been charged Thursday with three counts each of petit larceny and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Ms. Vincent is to appear Dec. 2 in Watertown City Court.
