Company wants Watertown resident to spy on crow flocks

The city’s pesky crows are back. And the wildlife biologists who will be trying to get rid of them want some help from city residents.

Wildlife biologists from Loomacres Wildlife Management, Warnerville, are asking residents to report this season’s activities of the city’s crow flock.

Citizens are encouraged to provide the location, estimated size, and dates and times of sightings of the crow flock. Loomacres will use this information when it begins crow hazing activities after Dec. 1.

Residents can report what the crows are doing by calling a toll-free phone number at 1 (800) 243-1462. To report crow activities online, go to www.airportwildlife.com/crows.php

The dates of the crow hazing have not been determined. The company said it will let the public know when crow hazing activities will begin.
