Assemblyman Ken Blankenbush is collecting hats, mittens, coats and scarves at his 15 Bridge St., West Carthage office for donation to families in need in the Carthage area.

His office is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

You can also drop off new or gently used winter apparel at B.E.L. Associates, Mr. Blankenbush's insurance office at 1717 State St. in Watertown.

The office will take in donations until Dec. 15. The goods will go to the St. James Food Pantry.
