Steven C. Williams, 43 of County Route 14, Chase Mills, NY died Wednesday evening (November 30, 2011) surrounded by his loving family at Fletcher Allen Medical Center, Burlington, VT. Family and friends are welcome to call Sunday December 4, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 pm& 7:00-9:00 pm at the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena. A Mass of Resurrection will be held Monday December 5, 2011 at 10:00 am at the St. Lawrence Church, Louisville with the Rev.

Donald J. Manfred presiding. Surviving Steven are cousins Julie, Jill, and Jean Austin. April, Kirk, Joan and Allen McLaughlin. Cameron, Dylan, Winnie and Jeff Loller. Bernard, Judy and Nathan Traynor and extended family. Steve was also a Godfather to many family members and friends’ children. Steven was born on May 5, 1968 in Ogdensburg in 1968, to the son of George and Eleanor (Castagnier) Williams. He graduated from Madrid-Waddington High School in 1986. He has a BA degree in Business Administration from Plattsburgh State and later received a Masters from SUNY Potsdam. Steven was employed at Barstow Motors as a sales assistant. Later working for MetLife Insurance Company as an Insurance Agent. At the time of Stevens’s death, he was working as a Bar Manager at Hotel Grande Norfolk, NY. Steven’s family is deeply grateful to his many wonderful friends and patrons who shared their time at Hotel Grande. A member of the Knights of Columbus Council and AMVETS Post #4.
