One driver sues another over accident

CANTON — A DeKalb Junction woman filed a lawsuit in state Supreme Court Tuesday charging another with reckless driving.
Jamie Friot was driving a 2004 Pontiac on Route 37 in Ogdensburg when she was hit by Harry M. Burkett, who was operating a 2007 Dodge pickup truck.
The lawsuit accuses Mr. Burkett of failing to pay attention and failing to use good judgement. Ms. Friot sustained serious and permanent disabilities because of the accident, the lawsuit says.
