EVANS MILLS Two men were injured at about 1:50 p.m. Wednesday when their vehicle struck an earth embankment at Beckwith Road and County Route 17, then overturned several times, according to state police.
Gabriel N. Texidor, 27, of 707 Parham St., Carthage, with head injuries, and his passenger, Moises Chamarro, 23, with a shoulder injury, were treated at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.
Police said Mr. Texidor was eastbound on Beckwith Road when he lost control of his car, which traveled from one side of the road to the other.
He was cited with driving at a speed not reasonable or prudent, making an unsafe lane change, failure to keep right, operating on the highway shoulder, and driving without a license.
