LOWVILLE — Leadership of the 10-member Lewis County Legislature is not expected to experience any change in 2012.

The eight-member Republican caucus recently decided to retain Chairman Jack T. Bush, R-Brantingham, and Vice-Chairman Michael A. Tabolt, R-Croghan, according to Mr. Bush.

Mr. Bush has served in that capacity since being elected to his third stint on the board six years ago, while Mr. Tabolt is in his first year as vice-chairman.

Legislators also plan to reappoint County Manager David H. Pendergast, County Attorney Richard J. Graham and Legislative Clerk Teresa K. Clark for two more years, Mr. Bush said.

While board Democrats could choose other candidates, Minority Leader John O. Boyd, D-New Bremen, said he was told the GOP vote was unanimous.

All 10 lawmakers were elected last month to two-year terms.
