Two boys charged with injuring skunks in Lowville

Police accuse local boys of injuring two skunks
LOWVILLE — Village police on Thursday charged two 14-year-old boys with cruelty to animals for allegedly injuring two skunks Dec. 3 off South State Street.
The two boys, from Lowville and Turin, will answer the charges in Lewis County Family Court. Their names were withheld due to age.
The boys were accused of throwing stones, pieces of concrete and other objects at the skunks.
