Jefferson County employee charged with stealing money from employees association

The treasurer of the Jefferson County Employees Association is accused of stealing $2,100 from the organization.

Diane L. Dobbins, 47, of 26766 Loomis Road, Lorraine, was arrested by city police at 5:19 p.m. Monday and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. City police said that she took the $2,100 between January and this month.

She was arrested at the county office building and taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where she was kept on $750 bail.
