■ GOUVERNEUR — The Gouverneur Foundation has awarded 29 scholarships totaling $51,750. Through the generosity of Cives Steel Corp. and individuals, the foundation manages about $750,000 for Gouverneur-area students who need financial aid and can meet academic standards.
