Drug Task Force reports seizure of $20,000 of pot

WINTHROP — The St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force seized $20,000 worth of marijuana Thursday after executing a search warrant at a residence in the town of Stockholm.

Bryan H. Jenack, 48, of 2899 County Route 48, was charged with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana, third-degree criminal sale of marijuana and unlawful growing of marijuana.

Investigators said the marijuana, along with $6,700 cash, was found in a hidden marijuana grow room in a shed on the property.

Mr. Jenack was arraigned in Stockholm Town Court by Judge Wayne Williams and sent to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, on $15,000 bail or $30,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear Wednesday.

The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, Potsdam, Canton and Gouverneur police, SUNY Potsdam police and state police assisted with the investigation.
