Owens to host Morrisville town hall

Rep. Bill Owens will hold a town hall in Madison County on Jan. 9.

Mr. Owens, D-Plattsburgh, will hold forth at SUNY Morrisville. Madison County is the southernmost county of the district.

Doors to the STUAC Theater, 90 Eaton St., will open at 6 p.m.

Since it's officially an election year, here's the obligatory mention: Mr. Owens is seeking re-election to Congress after one and a half terms. Matt Doheny, his 2010 Republican opponent, has announced his intentions to run again.
