Watertown police say that teen pushed grandmother

Watertown teen accused of shoving grandmother

Nicholas W. McKnight, 18, who police said is homeless, was charged by Watertown police at 10:34 p.m. Sunday at 217 N. Pearl Ave. with second-degree reckless endangerment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Police said Mr. McKnight pushed his grandmother, Kay F. Hoffman, 1230 Madison Ave., against a wall and threw a phone during a domestic incident in her home at 12:25 a.m. Sunday. They said Ms. Hoffman was wearing a neck brace during the dispute.

Mr. McKnight was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment in City Court.
