AKWESASNE – Kanatiio “Tiio” Adams, 18, of 20 Friday Drive, Snye, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012 at his home.

Among his survivors are his mother and father, Amanda and Thomas Smart, 4 brother, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Friends may call at the Akwesasne Homemakers beginning at 7:00 PM Thursday until 9:30 AM, Saturday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 11:00 AM at St. Regis Catholic Church with Rev. Jerome Pastores, celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, St. Regis, Quebec.

Memorial contributions may be made to Akwesasne Minor Lacrosse or the Hogansburg/Akwesasne Volunteer Fire Department.
