Margaret D. Beaudette

Margaret D. Beaudette, 89, of Claremont Ave. Massena, passed away on January 1, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A Mass of Resurrection for Margaret will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the Church of The Sacred Heart with Rev. Donald J. Manfred presiding. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Margaret was born on April 23, 1922 in Massena the daughter of Francisco and Amparo (Bezerril) Garcia. Margaret was married to Marvin A. Beaudette on October 21, 1950 at St. Mary’s Church in Massena with Rev. Joseph Heslin presiding. Margaret was employed at Alcoa during WW II, following her contribution to the war she was employed at Warner Brothers Corset Company in Massena for over six years. One of Margaret’s great pleasures in life was her loving husband’s devotion for growing roses for her. Margaret is survived by her loving husband Marvin, two children, Robert and wife Janet of Hershey, PA; Barbara and husband Scott Anderson of Massena, four grandchildren, a great grandchild, a dear sister Palmira “Pam”

Puente of Massena, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Fred, Frank, Joseph and Martin Garcia, and sisters Rose Palmer and Amparo “Lil” Kingston. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Catholic School Endowment Fund or Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
