Minnie Russell

CARTHAGE — Minnie Russell, 92, formerly of Country View Apartments in Adams, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at The Country Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where she has been a resident since 2009.

She was born on January 25, 1919 in Lake County, Indiana to Jess and Selinda Welch. She attended school in Knox, Indiana. She was self-employed and held many housekeeping jobs. She was a very caring person who loved taking care and helping others.

She is survived by a son, Richard Wallace, Adams and is predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Her body will be cremated. A burial will be held privately by the family in the Black River Cemetery.
