Marilyn C. LaPradd

Marilyn C. LaPradd, 55, of Bucktown Road, passed away on January 4, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family and hospice. Marilyn was employed up until the time of her illness at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Winners Club as a clerk for the past five years. Marilyn was born on July 2, 1986 in Syracuse the daughter of Francis and Irene (Jandrew) Jock. She married Richard Gurrola in July 1974 at Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, the marriage ended in divorce; she later married Oliver LaPradd on August 16, 1988. Marilyn is survived by her husband Oliver LaPradd of Brasher, sons, Joe and his companion Jennifer of Bridgeport, NY; Tommy and wife Melissa of Brasher Falls, Anthony and wife Jalene of Massena, four grandchildren, Sabrina, Zoey, Neji and Randi, two brothers, Francis Jock of Asheboro, NC and George Jock. She was preceded in death by a brother Eugene Jock and a sister Maria Jacob. Prayer survives for Marilyn LaPradd will be on Saturday (Jan. 7, 2012) at 4:00 pm at the Phillips Memorial Home in Massena. Friends and family may continue to call following the funeral service at the funeral home until 7:00 pm. Interment will be in Carville Cemetery, Helena.
