A Watertown man already serving a state prison sentence for possessing cocaine admitted Wednesday in Jefferson County Court that he also had sold the drug earlier.
Cedricquios A. Grant, 22, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, admitting he sold cocaine May 17, 2010, in Watertown.
He is serving a 3½-year sentence at Adirondack Correctional Facility, Malone, imposed in December 2010 for a fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance conviction. In that case, he admitted he had cocaine on him when he met with his parole officer at the Dulles State Office Building on Aug. 18, 2010.
Because the drug sale occurred before the possession charge for which he is serving prison time, Judge Kim H. Martusewicz is expected to sentence him March 14 to a one-year concurrent sentence.
