ADAMS CENTER — William H. Larkin, 90, of 12953 Rt. 11, Adams Center, died Friday January 27, 2012 at his home with family by his side.

He was born January 20, 1922 in Auburn, a son of George and Eva Larkin. He married Sarah Stanley November 5, 1950.

Mr. Larkin attended Adams Center School until the 10th grade when he left to take care of the family business. Mr. Larkin served in the United States Navy from 1941-1945.

Mr. Larkin and his wife Sarah owned and operated Larkin’s Mobil Station in Adams Center for more than 55 years. In the 60’s and 70’s, William, Gordon Worden and their wives owned and operated the “Square Dance Ranch” in Adams Center.

Surviving him are his six children, Kit, Wendy, Deb, Tim, Billy and Sally. Eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

William is predeceased by his wife Sarah Larkin. His brother Robert Larkin and his sister Dorothy Worden.

At William’s request there will be no funeral or calling hours.
