Lowville's Haenlin to sign with Syracuse

LOWVILLE – Lowville senior Taylor Haenlin will sign a national letter of intent Wednesday to play soccer for Division I Syracuse University this fall.
The signing is slated for 11:30 a.m. at the Lowville Academy high school auditorium.
Haenlin was named to the Times All-North first team in each of her five varsity seasons, and was the 2011 Frontier League most valuable player. Also in 2011, The New York State Sportswriters and Coaches Organization for Girls Sports selected Haenlin as the state co-player of the year in Class B.
Haenlin finished last season with 28 goals and 26 assists while leading Lowville to its first Section 3 championship since 1997. She is the school's all-time leader with 113 goals and 93 assists.
