■ CRANBERRY LAKE — The Cranberry Lake Fire District of the town of Clifton will have its regular meetings for 2012 at 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at the fire hall on Route 3. All meetings are open.

■ MARTINSBURG — The Town Council will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the new town municipal building, 5405 Cemetery St., to discuss furnishings for the new building and any other matter that may come before the board.

■ Kaitlin Monte, Miss New York 2011, will speak to students in grades four to eight from both LaFargeville and Lyme central schools on the dangers and effects of bullying, abuse and harassment. Her presentation will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at LaFargeville.
