Lowville man charged with refusing police order to disperse

LOWVILLE — Village police on Wednesday night charged Leon J. Kaskauskas, 44, Lowville, with disorderly conduct.

Police said they responded to the report of an unwanted person at a residence on Dayan Street, and Mr. Kaskauskas refused to leave the area after being so ordered several times. He is to appear in Village Court.

Lewis County sheriff’s deputies assisted.
