Touch a life by visiting nursing home resident

My mother has been a resident of the Mercy Care Center nursing home since June 2011.

Since my family has been going there, we have noticed that there are a lot of residents who never have visitors and some who have visitors once in a while or just during the holidays.

I am sure that there are a lot of retired people in our city as well as those who really love the elderly and want to make a difference.

I am writing this in hope that someone who has an hour a week and is willing to touch a life, bring a smile to a lonely person and just make a difference, will consider visiting one of these precious people. Thank you
