Serious accident closes Route 11
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2012
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department has closed Route 11 between Antwerp Street, Philadelphia, and Cooke Road because of a serious, multicar accident.
Law enforcement and emergency personnel were on the scene and both extraction equipment and a medical evacuation helicopter have been called. According to dispatch reports, as many as five cars were involved in the crash.
