Shawn R. Thomas, 32, of 3287 Wart Road, Mannsville, was arrested by state police on four charges, including felony driving while intoxicated, after he was involved in a property-damage accident late Sunday on County Route 90 in the town of Lorraine. He also was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct.
LeRay Town Justice George W. Mead III set bail at $2,000, sending him to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building.
Police said he kicked and damaged windows in a patrol car, directed threats at the female trooper who arrested him and refused to cooperated with police booking procedures. He also refused to take a breath test, police said.
He is charged with a felony because he has had a DWI conviction within the past 10 years, according to the court record.
Also charged with DWI and related offenses:
■ Maryellen K. OLeary, 25, of 389 Thompson Blvd., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police with aggravated DWI and following too closely at 6:54 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Holcomb Street. She had a blood-alcohol content of 0.24 percent, police said. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more.
■ Jennifer R. Hasenkamp, 31, of 22026 Brown Road, Watertown, was charged by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies with aggravated DWI, failure to keep right, driving across hazard markings and having tinted windows at 2:32 a.m. Sunday on Route 3 in the town of Pamelia. She had a BAC of 0.22 percent, deputies said.
■ Oswald J. Roche, 26, of 1429 Gill St., Apt. 443-B, Watertown, also was charged by Watertown police with failure to keep right and failing to signal a turn at 2:48 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Eastern Boulevard. He refused to submit to a breath test, police said.
■ Ricardo Garcia II, 24, of 10434 5th Armored Division Drive, Fort Drum, also was charged by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies with failing to use the designated lane and having tinted windows at 2:44 a.m. Sunday on Route 3 in the town of Pamelia. He had a BAC of 0.14 percent, deputies said.
■ William E. Butler, 50, of 38535 Route 37, Theresa, also was charged by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies with driving across hazard markings, failure to keep right and having inadequate plate lamps at 6:33 p.m. Saturday on Route 11 in the town of LeRay. He had a BAC of 0.14 percent, deputies said.
■ James M. Dickson, 28, Sackets Harbor, also was charged by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies with speeding and failing to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of an address change at 10:14 p.m. Saturday on Route 3 in the town of Hounsfield. He had a BAC of 0.11 percent, police said.
■ Adam R. Funk, 22, Grand Island, also was charged by Potsdam police with aggravated DWI and speeding at 2:34 a.m. Saturday on Clarkson Avenue, Potsdam. He had a BAC of 0.19 percent and was clocked at 51 mph in a 30-mph zone, police said.
■ Mara E. Wilson, 23, of 26 State St., Canton, also was charged by St. Lawrence County sheriffs deputies with failing to stop at a stop sign at 1:43 a.m. Sunday on Market Street, Potsdam. She had a BAC of 0.17 percent, deputies said.
■ Bradley S. Harmer, 46, of 1630 Stone Road, Gouverneur, also was charged by state police with failing to keep right and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle at 10:25 p.m. Saturday on County Route 21 in the town of Hermon. He had a BAC of 0.09 percent, police said.
■ Paul C. Barton, 21, Clayton, was charged by state police with aggravated DWI at 1:41 a.m. Sunday on James Street in Clayton. His BAC was unavailable.
■ Bradley R. Quick, 23, Webster, was charged by state police at 1:06 a.m. Sunday on Route 3 in the town of Hounsfield. He had a BAC of 0.17 percent, police said.
■ Janina Felka-Burns, 25, Antwerp, was charged by state police at 2:10 a.m. Sunday on Route 11 in the town of Philadelphia. She had a BAC of 0.12 percent, police said.
Charged with snowmobiling while intoxicated:
■ Dawn M. Wells, 48, of 112 Cherry St., Ogdensburg, also was charged by St. Lawrence County sheriffs deputies with driving an unregistered snowmobile stemming from a crash Jan. 21 on Black Lake near 3788 County Route 6, Ogdensburg, deputies released Sunday. She was taken to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, Ogdensburg, for treatment of back and neck pain.
Charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs:
■ Tyler W. Guy, 17, of 15710 Clark Road, Sackets Harbor, also was charged by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies with having an inadequate muffler and unlawful possession of marijuana at 9:30 p.m. Saturday on Route 3 in the town of Hounsfield.
■ Deborah Aguirre, 38, of 1429 Gill St., Apt. 441-D, also was charged by Watertown police with making an unsafe lane change at 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Central Street.
