Watertown police arrested a Redwood woman Monday afternoon in connection with an alleged house intrusion Friday afternoon on Ohio Street.
Selina E.T. Sochia, 19, of 47882 County Route 111, is charged with second-degree counts of burglary and criminal contempt, fourth-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny. Watertown City Judge Eugene R. Renzi set bail at $1,000 Tuesday, placing her in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building.
Police said she violated stay-away terms of an order of protection issued in City Court when at about 2:30 p.m. she went to the residence of Kimberly J. Maitland, 1333 Ohio St. She kicked and broke a window screen, police alleged, entered the residence and stole a pair of jeans and a tank top belonging to Meghan M. Maitland, 19. A $60 value was placed on the clothing.
