CARTHAGE- Claude I. Linck, 77, of 21749 Rock Lane, died on February 5, 2012 at the Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.
He was born on January 15, 1935 on Mohawk Hill in Constableville, NY to Aloysius and Jennie Moore Linck. He graduated from Lowville Academy in 1952, after graduation he served in the United State Air Force from 1952-1955. He also attended a Baking School in Syracuse. He loved to sing and play the guitar.
He married Patricia Knowllman in December of 1958. The couple divorced in 1986.
Throughout his years he was employed by Josephs Music Shop in Boonville, he was a part-time weekend announcer for WBRV, Boonville, he was a job press operator for the Lowville Journal & Republican, he worked for the New York Bakery in Utica and he retired as the Manager of DanDee Donuts in Watertown due to a back injury in 1986.
He is survived by a daughter; Patricia Joan and her husband Owen Oberg, and three grandchildren; Bridget, Lorraine, and Eric, all living in North Carolina.
He is predeceased by his grandson, Evan Christopher and several brothers and sisters; Genieve Denslow, Laurena Linck, Aloysius Linck, and Karl Linck.
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, the Black River Congregation. He was baptized on Septembper 23, 1961. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 28345 County Route 342 in Black River.
