A mass of the resurrection for Arnold B. Caskinette, 67 of Massena formerly of Madrid will be Friday ( February 10, 2012 ) at 11:00 am at St John the Baptist Church in Madrid with Rev. Jack Downs presiding. The family will receive visitors on Thursday (February 9, 2012) at the Phillips Memorial Home, Madrid from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Arnold died Monday (February 6, 2012) at his home surrounded by his loving family and hospice. He is survived by his wife Catherine, four children Tanya Foster of Lisbon, Shane Caskinett of Massena, Brittany Reymundo and her husband Tirado of Massena and Arnold Jr.
and his wife Jamie Caskinette of Batavia, brothers and sisters Kevin and his wife Mona Caskinette of Potsdam, Kim and her husband Steve Baker of Canton, Lois Caskinett of Waddington, Paul and his wife Lisa Caskinett of Lisbon, Karen Caskinett of St Cloud, FL, Jeff and his wife Cathy Vallance of Madrid and Arleen Jayson of Gouverneur, his mother-in-law Ethel Caskinett of Madrid, ten grandchildren Brooke, Megan, Jordan Foster, Nathan, Shyania, Cody, Jacequelynn Caskinett, Madison Kemison, Jacob and Joseph Caskinette, a great-grandson Charles Foster. Arnold was predeceased sisters Hannora Stanka, Agatha LaVave and Eva Caskinette, a brother Anthony brother-in-laws Edward, Billy and Blake Caskinett, a nephew Wyatt Caskinett, Mark Caskinette, father-in-law Edmund Caskinett, his father Joseph and mother Emma. Arnold was born December 22,1944 in Potsdam the son of Joseph and Emma Foley Caskinette. He graduated from from Potsdam High School. Arnold served in the US Navy from 1965-1979. He worked as a Security Guard at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse and later became a Virginia State Trooper stationed at the Norfolk Navy Ship Yard. Arnold enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR, watching football especially his favorite teams the Giants and the Jets, gathering and spending time with his loving family and watching videos.
