David J. Shampine, 86, Waddington

WADDINGTON - Daivd passed away at age 86 on February 9, 2012, at the St. Regis Nursing Facility, surrounded by his devoted caregivers and the presence of his family's love. David was a resident of St. Regis since May 2011.

Friends and neighbors wishing to call on David's family are invited to attend an informal reception at the American Legion, Fenton St., Waddington, on Sunday, February 19, from 1 to 4 PM.

Graeside services with military honors will be held late spring of 2012, date and time to be announced later with an invitation for family and friends to attend.

If one wishes, memorial donations may be made in David's name to any of the following organizations: Waddington Volunteer Rescue Squad, Waddington Rod and Gun Club, or HOspice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
