LOWVILLE — Village police on Tuesday charged Mandi L. Lawlee, 30, Railroad Street, with making a false written statement.

Ms. Lawlee was accused of filing a statement reporting an alleged violation of an order of protection that later was determined to be untrue based on other witness interviews. She is to answer the charge in Village Court.
