Bobcats’ Goodman gets one-game suspension

Quinnipiac’s Russell Goodman, a junior forward, was suspended for one game by ECAC Hockey for a hit to the head during the third period of Clarkson’s 7-6 loss to the Bobcats last Saturday at Cheel Arena. Goodman actually hit both Julien Cayer and Ben Sexton during the incident and the league did not specify which hit the suspension was based on.

Goodman will miss three games. He earned a game disqualification on the play and, since it was his second of the season, he was already facing missing two games before the league added the one-game suspension.
