Rattray, Sabatine finalists for Kazmaier Award

Clarkson’s Jamie Lee Rattray and St. Lawrence’s Kelly Sabatine are finalists for the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award, given to women’s college hockey’s top player.

They are among 30 finalists from across the country. Other selection criteria include sportsmanship, performance in the clutch, personal character and competitiveness.

Rattray, a sophomore, has 18 goals and 17 assists this season for the Golden Knights. Three of her goals were game-winners. Sabatine, a junior, has 17 goals and 23 assists for the Saints. She also has four game-winning and two short-handed goals.

■ St. Lawrence men’s squash player Duncan Maxwell was named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week, while SLU’s Jenna Hulton was the conference track Performer of the Week. Clarkson’s Felix Llanos is the men’s basketball Performer of the Week, and SUNY Potsdam women’s hockey player Breanna Roy was named to the ECAC West Honor Roll for the week ending Sunday.
