ECAC Hockey honors Clarkson’s Karpowich

POTSDAM — Clarkson goaltender Paul Karpowich received ECAC Hockey goaltender of the week mention after stopping 55 of 57 shots during Clarkson’s games last weekend.
Karpowich, a senior from Thunder Bay, Ontario, made 27 saves in a 1-1 tie against Cornell. He then saved 28 shots against Colgate in a 2-1 victory for the Golden Knights. Clarkson also held opponents scoreless on nine power-play attempts with Karpowich in net.
