SUNY Potsdam places 2 on All-SUNYAC

POTSDAM — SUNY Potsdam men’s hockey players Sy Nutkevitch and Erick Ware each were selected to the All-SUNYAC team, the school announced Tuesday.

Nutkevitch, a senior from Montreal, made the second team. Ware, a freshman from Huntsville, Ala., appears on the third team.

Nutkevitch leads SUNYAC in scoring and is tied for eighth among all NCAA Division III schools with 38 points (8 goals-30 assists). He also leads the league in assists and is second in Division III in assists per game at 1.20.

Ware, a defenseman, is fourth on the Bears in scoring with 17 points (4-13). His .85 points-per-game average leads all SUNYAC defensemen. He second in the league in scoring by a freshman.
