FORT DRUM — About 750 soldiers will be returning from Afghanistan this week from the 10th Mountain Division’s 3rd Brigade Combat Team.

Two ceremonies for returning soldiers are planned for Tuesday, with one ceremony scheduled for 3 a.m., and another set for 8:30 p.m. Each returning group will have about 250 soldiers. The ceremony for the first group of soldiers was originally scheduled for Monday night.

Another group of about 250 soldiers is tentatively set to return on Thursday. More details on their arrival time will be made available either Tuesday or Wednesday.

The brigade has spent the past 12 months stationed in Kandahar Province, where they worked regularly with Afghan soldiers.
