LOWVILLE - Carol L. Moshier, 74, of State Route 26, Lowville, died Monday evening at the Lewis County General Hospital.
A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Swinburne Cemetery, Deer River with Rev. Evan Zehr officiating. There will be no calling hours or funeral. Contributions may be made to Friends of Lewis County Hospice, P.O. Box 266, Lowville, NY 13367, or American Cancer Society, Jefferson Lewis Unit, P. O. Box 357, Watertown, NY 13601. Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Joyce Berend of Kettering, Ohio and Eileen and Richard Fletcher of Shingletown, CA; nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by a brother, William Lyman.
Mrs. Moshier was born on July 14, 1937 in Potsdam, NY, a daughter of the late Royal and Susan Crowley Lyman and Graduated from Norwood-Norfolk High School in 1954 and from Potsdam State University in 1960. On August 14, 1965, she married Howard B. Moshier at the Norwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Frank Smith officiating. She taught fourth grade at Carthage Elementary for over 27. Together with her husband, the couple owned and operated H. Moshier Antiques on Route 26 in Denmark for over 38 years. Mr. Moshier died on January 30, 2004.
Mrs. Moshier enjoyed reading and needlework.
