WFP challenge moves forward

The challenge to Rep. Bill Owens' petitions to get on the Working Families Party line has gone forward.
Meanwhile, the challenge to Republican Matt Doheny's Conservative Party* signatures was dropped.
The Kellie Greene campaign says it found 101 signatures that could be challenged, but "That was not enough to reach the 196 signature threshold," said spokesman Shane Wikfors. Basically, we wanted to do due diligence on his petitions."
That means Mr. Doheny has the Conservative Party line, officially.
Specific objections to Mr. Doheny's Independence Party petitions have yet to be posted on the Board of Elections website; though the deadline was yesterday, it's possible they they're in the mail or just haven't been posted yet. Or that they don't exist at all.
This post erroneously stated that challenges to Mr. Doheny's Republican signatures were dropped. There were no challenges to those petitions; it was his Conservative petitions.
