Two Watertown teens were accused of assisting an assault of a younger boy Friday afternoon at 112 Newell St.

City police on Sunday and Monday charged Cleo E. Vaughn IV, 17, of 143 N. Hamilton St., and Raheim D. Newman, 19, of 435 S. Hycliff Drive, Apt. 634D, with third-degree assault and second-degree menacing, answerable in City Court.

They were accused of standing by with knives to allow a 15-year-old boy, whom police did not identify owing to his age, to assault another boy, 14.
