State Sen. Patty Ritchie, R-Heuvelton, has plucked another reporter from the media world.

Tim Scee, the reporter for online newz site Newzjunky, will work in the constituent services department for Mrs. Ritchie starting on Wednesday, said her chief of staff, Graham Wise.

Mr. Scee's father, also Tim Scee, is the Democratic town supervisor in Hounsfield. The younger Mr. Scee is a registered Republican.

In 2011, Mrs. Ritchie hired Jim Reagen, the city editor at the Ogdensburg Journal. Earlier this year, Mrs. Ritchie hired Sarah Compo, the weekend anchor at Channel 7.
