Watertown- Dale E. Liscomb, 73, of McConnellsburg, PA , formerly of Watertown and Belleville, passed away Saturday, June 9th at the Community General Hospital in Harrisburg, PA.

The funeral will be 2 pm Thursday, June 14th at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday, June 13th from 4 pm - 8 pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Dale was born in Watertown May 7th, 1939, a son of Albert and Helen Giltz Liscomb. He was educated in Watertown schools. Dale was a truck driver all of his working life, driving for several companies to include Rural Hill Sand and Gravel of Belleville, Borello’s and Marcinko’s Trucking, both of Watertown, the Town of Rutland and McDermott’s Trucking in PA.

Dale enjoyed fishing, bowling, his dogs Trixie and Cocoa and following the New York Yankees. While living in Pennsylvania, he did volunteer work at a Christian school.

He married Minerva “Minnie” Parish, October 15, 1960. She passed June 2, 1990. Dale married Linda Lininger Meyers in October of 1994.

Besides his wife Linda of McConnellsburg, he is survived by his children, Debbie (Ian) Hill, Watertown; Tina Smith (George Goutremout), Tylerville; Donna (Jeff) Shannon, Watertown; Dale (Kimberly) Liscomb, Jr., Phenix City, AL; Doris (Jeff) Cronk, Limerick. 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Two step daughters, Brandi and Rhonda and a step son, Ronnie Myers, Jr.
