Clayton- The memorial service for Mr. Lewis R. Spencer II, age 41, will be at 11am Saturday June 16th at the Clayton Opera House. Mr. Spencer died June 7th at his mother’s home in Chaumont.

Mr. Spencer was born January 18th, 1971 in Hudson, NY the son of Lewis and Carolyn Pitonza Spencer. He graduated from Honeoye Falls High School. Before becoming disabled he worked various jobs as a medical records clerk in the Department of Oncology at Albany Medical Center.

He enjoyed gardening, animals, going on the river and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was an avid NY Yankees fan.

Surviving is his mother, Carolyn Sandrock of Chaumont; his father, Lewis (Laura) Spencer of Antwerp; his partner Brian Russell of Clayton; three sisters, Tia Spencer of Evans Mills, Angela Duscharm of Glen Park and Vicky Babcock address unknown; four brothers, Gregory of Reno Nevada, Preston of Antwerp, Michael (Jennifer) of Brownville and James (Alexis) of Ithaca; nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles.
