CLAYTON — Clayton Distilling Co. will host a groundbreaking ceremony at 3 p.m. Friday at its future site, 410164 Route 12.

Light refreshments will be served.

Construction of the 2,240-square-foot microdistillery is set to start in late June, and the facility is to open early next year. It will produce gin, vodka, aged and unaged whiskey, maple liquor and fruit brandies.

The distillery is co-owned by Michael Aubertine, Roger Howard and Michael Ingerson.
