■ CARTHAGE Following a public hearing Monday at which no one spoke, the Wilna Town Council changed the date of the property assessment grievance day to the fourth Tuesday in May.
■ LOWVILLE The Lewis County Board of Legislators will hold a special meeting at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the second-floor chambers at the County Office Building, North State Street, to consider appointment of a highway superintendent.
■ A 3.8-acre parcel off Eastern Boulevard owned by Chester F. and Nancy P. Gray, which housed the Watertown Health & Racquet Club, was listed by the Jefferson County clerk office as sold June 1. The property was sold to the Stebbins Engineering and Manufacturing Co. for $700,000.
