POTSDAM — The Town Council unanimously approved the following contractors for the construction of the Town Hall during a meeting June 12:

■ General construction — Harvey Excavation and Construction of Chase Mills, for $1.3 million.

■ Mechanical — Empire Northeast of Gouverneur, for $229,750.

■ Plumbing and fire protection — Skelley Contractors of Ogdensburg, for $113,000.

■ Electrical — Collins-Hammond Electrical Contractors of Ogdensburg, for $166,500.

The project’s estimated cost is $1,763,250. Construction will start next month and is slated for completion in November.
