Watertown police charged a city woman with driving while under the influence of drugs Tuesday night after she was involved in a three-vehicle accident at Coffeen and VanDuzee streets.
Angela M.Oriley, 36, of 673 Pamelia Ave., was also cited with following too close and operating an uninsured auto.
Police said two vehicles stopped ahead of her for a red traffic light in eastbound Coffeen Street traffic at 8:40 p.m., and she failed to stop. Her car struck the rear of a pickup operated by Bruce D. Westlake, 52, of 147 N. Meadow St., which in turn hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Shelby M. Brand, 20, of 140 Thompson Blvd., according to police.
