Ted J. Reiter, age 45, life resident of Pulaski and Sandy Creek, passed away Wednesday at his home. Ted was born June 16, 1967 in Rochester, the son of Elmer and Rose K. Kuehne Reiter. He graduated from Sandy Creek High School in 1985. He served in the United States Navy as a First Class Petty Officer from 1985 to 1991. Ted married Angela Dobbeke on December 2, 1990. He was employed by Reiters Marina for the past 5 years, and was previously employed by Sithe Energies in Oswego for 12 years. Ted was a member of Christ Our Light Parish in Pulaski, the Sandy Pond Channel Maintenance Association, and the Sandy Pond Sportsmans Association, and he was a former member of the Sandy Creek Fire Department.
Surviving: wife Angela of Pulaski, two sons, Drayce and Teigen both of Pulaski, his father Elmer BudReiter of Sandy Creek, and his canine companion Swabbie. Ted is predeceased by his mother Rose K. Reiter who died November 27, 2008 and his sister Julie Reiter Tetrault who died November 13, 2003.
Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, at Christ Our Light Parish in Pulaski. Burial with full military honors will be held at Pulaski Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Foster- Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
