Former Immaculate Heart Central athlete Angela Vespa has been named a national NJCAA All-American for her womens lacrosse performance for Onondaga Community College this past spring.
Vespa, who completed her second year with the team, helped Onondaga CC to its second national title in May by scoring two goals in the championship game, a 6-5 victory over Monroe Community College. Monroe was the two-time defending champion.
Vespa was named to the all-tournament team, as well as the regional championship all-tournament team. She was also selected to the All-Region 3 first team.
