CHAUMONT — Chaumont firefighters and the Jefferson County Special Tactic and Rescue team had to retrieve a 14-foot boat that had capsized in four feet of water Sunday morning in Lake Ontario.

The unidentified lone boater was not injured, while the aluminum boat was turned back over and towed back to the Guffin Bay Resort & Marina, Point Salubrious, fire officials said.
