Timothy J. DeMarco, 30, of 30124 Route 3, Apartment 13, Felts Mills, was arrested Saturday night by city police on charges of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing, second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.
Mr. DeMarco is accused of threatening his sister, Gena Hoyt, by putting a butter knife up to her neck and saying he was going to kill her. Police said he also grabbed her and pushed her into a wall. The incident occurred in front of a 10-year-old boy at the womans home on Ohio Street, police said.
He was arraigned Sunday in City Court and taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $10,000 bail.
